Description:This story was recorded by Elena Kalinina and Ol'ga Birjuk from Daria Ivanovna Nadeina in August 2007. A first transcription was made by Daria Bikina in ELAN and the translation was provided by Daria Nadeina in July 2017. Then it was glossed by Daria Bikina. The transcription and glosses were checked and corrected by Natalia Aralova in July 2018. Questions were checked with Antonina Kazarova. This short story is about a trip to Polina Osipenko village. The car was going on the frozen river which was very bumpy and one of the travelers was afraid of breaking his tailbone. // Этот текст был записан в августе 2007 года Е. Калининой и О. Бирюк от Д. И. Надеиной. Дарья Ивановна рассказывает об одной поездке в село им. Полины Осипенко, когда она и ее попутчики ехали на машине по недавно замерзшей реке. Зимник был очень неровный и один из попутчиков сказал, что боится сломать себе копчик.
This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun’ and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings.
