Cabral & Bacigalupo, de la familia Rubiaceae, aunque la mayoría de los ochpa:wa:s son Sida spp., de la familia Malvaceae), una planta silvestre de flores pequeñas y blancas que se reproduce en cafetales. El kwikwitskaochpa:wa:s sirve para curar el cha:wis (anemia), una enfermedad que hace que los niños suden al dormir. El olor del sudor es desagradable. Para que el kwikwitska ochpa:wa:s pueda surtir efecto se ocupa junto con el teahwach (Pilea microphylla (L.) Liebm.) y ti:ltik kwitakowit (Solanum diphyllum L.) Estas tres plantas se hierven juntas y con el agua se baña el enfermo. Vázquez agrega que kwikwitsk aochpa:wa:s también se puede ocupar como escoba para asear las casas. | |
