Description:Lamu Rana who now lives in Bhaktapur relates traditional stories about the original of the Kaike language, people and culture.
From Sahartara, but she's lived in Kathmandu for 20-30. First recorded on 20 December 2017.
Originally from Gumbatara. Mother from Sahartara. Grew up speaking Kaike and Tichurong (Poike Tibetan) in Dolpa. Speaks Kaike on a daily basis, but uses Nepali and English for his trekking business and for his studies. Has done research on Kaike rituals. First recorded on 10 Dec 2017.
