Description:		Meto Biraga performs seven different lyre songs most of which have not been recorded from anybody else in the project. The song in file 001 is labelled bork' baaba, file 002 zolgasinde and file 003 maahi mallacce. File 004 and 004a are two versions of the same song, called a kapi kawtane. File 005 is a song called albazho, which is repeated in file 008. The song in file 006 was labelled kaabi bato, file 007 contains a conversation between Meto Biraga and Aberra Araga (for Aberra see session AAR2011-12-29_001-005).
		Meto is a farmer and lyre player from Gaara. He was born in Angila and moved to Gaara in Haile Selassie's time.
		Yvonne Treis is a linguist and works on Ethiopian languages at CNRS in France.
