Description:The map shows the location of Basketo Special Woreda, the administrative unit in which in which most Baskeet speakers live. Some Baskeet speakers also live in the neighbouring Melokoza Woreda. The languages spoken in the immediate neighbourhood of Baskeet are Malo (to the North), Gofa (to the East), Galila Aari (to the South) and Dime (to the West). The Baskeet area is connected to regional and national capitals via Sawla (in the Gofa zone) and Soddo-Wolaitta.
