| Description: | Mbowura or Juoadigbe is the settlement of the Juoadigbe clan in the Northern Region. It is situated some miles south of Kpandai. After Agou, Mbowura is the second mainly Bogoŋ-speaking settlement . As a result of the warlike conflicts in the past decades involving the Nawuri, Gonja, Nanumba, Konkomba and Dagomba many Bogoŋ left Mbowura. In 2006 there were only about 10 houses left. During my stay at Mbowura in February 2006, I recorded three texts at three different evening sessions. | |
