| Description: | This bundle contains the signed informed consents (PDFs) we asked from the consultants and the consents of the research team. The procedure was always by the following steps: 1. Explaining the project in general. 2. Showing the archives LAC and ELAR to the consultants in the Internet. 3. Explaining our purpose to document the language by archiving the recorded data and explaining the different possibilities to restrict access wishing also anonymity or not giving permission for visual data (photos and video). 4. Filling–in the consent form in English and Arabic whereby having them stated their agreement to the recordings by signing the form, afterwards countersigned by the depositor Isabel Compes. In most cases this was done in English and Arabic after explanations in Arabic or Zaghawa by the research assistent Elsadig Omda Ibrahim Elnur. Only for the elder women (AMA, OBJ and TAA) the informed consent was documented on video because they don’t know writing and reading and in one case also know only basic Arabic (see bundles zag_cons20150903.. and zag_cons20150910...) | |
