Description:In this video recording, we view her interview telling a story about how she became deaf, how she communicates with her family, how she used sign language in school and with teachers of deaf children and the enivornment around the school, she describes difference signs between school and home, and after her studies she got a job or own business. In the annotation,she signed a story switching codes of American Sign language (ASL), Langue signes des French (LSF) and ExnCSL have both transcription are english and french glosses.

Sam is Deaf born in Kampala, Uganda. His first language is Kenyan sign Language and second Ugandan Sign Language. He studied in Kenya from infant school to technical school for the Deaf. During his school time, he learnt written English, some Swahili and Luganda. After competing his studies , he Studied a short course in Denmark for 7 months and learnt Danish Sign Language. when he returned ,he spearheaded a regional sign language training in East and Southern Africa e.g. Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. He knows American sign language too. Sam was also Co-author on the team which carried out research on the Ugandan Sign Language dictionary project from 2000 - 2006 when the dictionary was published. He started to learn indiegious sign language in the Extreme North Cameroon . He used Cameroon Sign Language as his daily communication with indiegous sign language users.
Axelle is a Deaf young woman. she was born in Mbagar, Maroua - Cameroon. She used to use home signs like Extreme North Cameroon sign Language, and during her school time she used the Language Signs Cameroon (LSF) and written French. She learnt primary 6 class till 2003. She studied tailoring for one year in Mokolo vocational training.
