		The three year project seeks to document the highly endangered language in both audio and video recordings as well as a detailed analysis.
		Bimla and Donnai tell about their childhood in the Hill Gutob region near Remo settlements, were Gutob was the dominant language. Even other (usually Desia-speaking) groups such as the Goren, Goudo and Kamars also used to speak Gutob. They discuss their customs and the difficulties adjusting to modern life after marrying into a Desia-speaking community, where their traditional attire and the use of the Gutob language was actively discouraged and sometimes punished. Despite having settled in fine they were very happy to get the opportunity to speak Gutob again and astonished that an outsider would make an effort to learn the language. Besides the interesting cultural content, the recording also contains interesting linguistic data, such as the native Gutob numeral /umbar/ 'two', and phonological differences to Plains Gutob.
