| Description: | This video captures almost 2 hours of spontaneous chatter between five teenage girls of Buragaon. They are initially camera-shy, and giggle at the prospect of being recorded, but once they get going, there's no stopping them. They tease each other, tell ghost stories, make fun of their teachers, elders and friends and wander from topic to topic. Sitting under a green Chayote-squash 'pandal' (marquee), they get completely absorbed in their conversation oblivious to time and the camera. Recorded outside Assisi Bhavan Convent, Buragon. Fairly quiet village surroundings; outdoors. Micropones: Audio Technica 803B lavalier omnidirectional condenser microphones - 2, one for each stereo channel, both attached to collars of different speakers. Recorded on Marantz PMD 661 MK2 solid state recorder, Recording Specs: Sample rate 48000 Hz, 32 bit float.
