Murose is Edwin Haidu's daughter with his non_Blanga (Western Province) wife Yvonne. She started attending the village kindergarten while I was there. My impression was that her first language is Pijin (one of the few native speakers). When I saw her again, after 20 months, she would also use Blanga.
This is the general name for a group of people attending an event but not necessarily participating in our recording sessions. They can be best characterised as bystanders but some of them also say something during the event that ends up being recorded.
