| Apner is from Mambor. He was born blind. Because he couldn't go to school, he spent a lot of time growing up under the care of his grandfather, Yunus Manuaron. His grandfather preferred Moor over Malay. As a result, Apner is a fluent Moor speaker while others his age are usually not. | ||
