Description:		El ahwachma:ma:ni, según Rubén Macario, es una hierba que se da en la milpa. Sólo hay una clase. No crece alto sino que se arrastra entre otras hierbas. Sus flores son algo rojo. Cuando cae el rocío por las noches la hierba se carga el agua. Pequeñas gotitas de agua se quedan entre sus hojas, flores y tallo. Por eso se llama ahwachma:ma:ni. No es medicinal. Animales como gallinas, guajolotes, cerdos y reses comen las hojas verdes. Hay un tiempo del año en que se va secando la planta y solamente quedan algunas pequeñas ramas secas que sólo sirven para abono del suelo.
