| One afternoon Gebi, the youngest member of our team, said that if we had words for vowels, consonants and other linguistic terms it would be easier for people to learn and remember them. Everyone liked the idea and convened a meeting immediately, setting aside other plans for the day. The video hereshows this meeting. We came up with new words for some linguistic concepts. Although some of the new names were changed later on, this meeting was the starting point. The names were subsequently well appreciated by other members of the Hrusso Aka tribe. We also noticed that they made it easier to explain things like vowels, consonants, morphemes etc. | ||
