| Description: | This story was recorded by Elena Kalinina and Ol'ga Birjuk from Daria Ivanovna Nadeina in August 2007. A first transcription was made by Daria Bikina in ELAN and the translation was provided by Daria Nadeina. Then it was glossed by Daria Bikina. The transcription and glosses were checked and corrected by Brigitte Pakendorf in August 2017. Questions were checked with Daria Nadeina. This story is about the grandmother of Daria Ivanova who used to walk very slowly. Once on the way home from Polina Osipenko village she was picked up by a tractor driver and she was very impressed by the speed. // Этот текст был записан в августе 2007 года Е. Калининой и О. | This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun' and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings. | ||
| Worked in the kindergarten as teacher and director, worked as a schoolteacher, in a shop, and also in the village administration. Is very active in maintaining Negidal culture and the language. | ||
