| Description: | In this long video recording, we see Grace Baale making her best food, bean cakes, the food she was talking about in a recording before. First, she goes to the grinder to grind the beans. Then we see her in her kitchen as she is preparing the ground beans for the bean cakes, filling the leaves and weaving and tying the leaves together with Oni Tosin helping her, and then putting them into the pot to cook. When she is done with this, we see her and other people in the kitchen during dinner preparation time. Dolapo and Blessing are doing their school homework and help around the kitchen, Gbemi is preparing dinner, Oni Seyi is coming in, Taye is joining to cook dinner for her people, the Principal is coming in too to chat and carry yams. Later, Grace Baale and Dolapo are washing plates and singing, Taye is washing plates. In the end, the bean cakes are coming out and are ready. The yam has boiled too so Seun, Ope, Rasaki and Jola Baale are coming to help pound, Grace Baale pounds too and laughs at how much strength she has for pounding. Finally, the okra soup is almost ready and cooking finishes for the day. | |
