Description:This recording was made at Sn&SK's house and later at SU&PU's house in the central village. Deaf children are playing (and being a bit bored) while the parents are preparing a Hindu ceremony.
In the child signing project deaf children growing up in a rich signing environment are recorded every 2 weeks if possible. Recordings are made at their homes or other familiar places within the village with caretakers (parents, siblings) and other people.
Woman grew up in hearing, non-signing village and acquired Indonesian Sign Language first. She did not acquire Kata Kolok until she married a deaf spouse from Bengkala.
