| Description: | Friday prayer time ca. 13:20-14:00. In talking with p002 several times about the performance in the sermon_001 it seems that the speaker is naturally stutters a bit no matter what lanuage he speaks. Also an interesting point concerning the chanted sermon style emerged, that is, that it seems that in Guinea more and more Imams present their Friday sermons in this style and it is somewhat of a fad at the moment. The first Imam of the Great Mosque in Conakry, however, still explains without the chanting. The performance of this Imam, who is carries the title "Fode" performed a lot better. I basically used the same set up as for the first session, but was a little bit low on battery power for the Panasonic HDC-HS60, because I had used it the day before and could not recharge it in time. Thus the documentation of the audience is limited to a half hour or so. I also accidentally inverted the left and right channel of the mic when connecting the mic to the PMD 661. | |
