She can use it to prohibit and curse the fruits in the plantation. If people steal, they get ill with swollen limbs. Febronia cures them with a chewed areca nut and piper betel mixture containing only 'cewa' leaves as other ingredient. The cure is repeated until the victim is healthy again. After, they usually pay with food; ketupat steamed rice and fish. Febronia was shy and the sound situation was not ideal, children playing in front of the house, people nearby preparing for a party the next day. I chose anyhow to record with the AT 2020 Lavelier mic.
