This is a night performance and is good for comparison of quintine and quartine forms; also good gestures from Piacentini as Pastore (replaced Fontanini as Arcario in Metra performance of Re Eronte - 6/8/92) particularly with Fontanini (Giliante) in penultimate scene. Some singers get to do ottave and ariette in this maggio who didn't in Eronte and it should be a good audio recording of the musicians as microphone was near them. Audio tape 1 contains stanzas 1-99.
