Description:Translation (Seng Pan) Once upon a time, there lived a widow and her son in a village. They were so poor. One day, the whole village went fishing. The widow and her son also joined with them. The widow was quite ugly. Since they were poor and the widow wasn't good looking, the son didn't like his mother. The whole village caught the fish by bombing in the water. When the son found big fish, he gave it to the other villagers. He didn't give it to his mother. The poor widow only collected the small fish and tiny prawns that the others didn't like. Since the widow was not pretty, her son didn't give the big fish and put it in the other's basket. They went fishing the whole day. And the son helped others to catch big fish all day. But he didn't put any fish in his mother's basket. The widow just followed after the villagers and collected small fish. In the evening, they all went back home. At dinner time, the villagers gathered with each family. The son thought that at least a family would invite him to join dinner as he had helped fishing the whole day. So, he walked around the houses. However, no one invited him for dinner. When the villagers saw him, they closed the windows instead of asking him to join dinner. "Go back home!" the villagers said. He was so unhappy and went back home. His mother prepared a meal with the unwanted small fish and prawns that she collected. "Dear. Come come! I've cooked a delicious fish curry for you," the mother said. The son was sorry for his mother and regretted what he did to her. He hugged his mother and cried. "I'm so sorry, Mom. I was wrong that I only give fish to the people with pretty faces," the son said. Finally, he realized that he made a mistake.
