Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was a country. The king had a beautiful daughter. Day after day, the princess became an adult. She became an adult woman and reached the age to get married. The king arranged a consort selection ceremony for the princess. The princess agreed to hold the consort selection event. The chief officer (or) the counselor's son, the treasurer's son, the wealthy man's son, and the general's son thought to themselves, "Whatever, if I can get married to the princess, I will be the king." They had the same thought. The princess tested them. She went to the counselor's son's house. She dressed as a poor man and went there. When she arrived there, she heard the sound of him having fun with other women while she was outside his house. So, she didn't go into the house and returned to the palace. Later, she went to the general's son's house. She saw he was playing cards and getting angry because he lost. Then, she went to the rich man's son's house. When she went there, the rich man's son said, "Why did you come here?" She said, "I am starving. Also, I am thirsty. Can you please give me some food and water?" He shouted, "I can't give you anything! Such a poor woman!" He forced her out, so she had to run away. On the way, she found a horse. She rode the horse and ran away. When she arrived at a farm on the outskirts of the village, the horse suddenly stopped. She fell off the horse. There was a man who raised goats there. He helped her. He asked her, "How did you arrive here?" She said, "I ran away from people who accused me of being a thief. Then I arrived here. I am starving now. Can you give me some food and water?" He gave her the food he had brought for himself and offered her some water. After eating, he took her to his house. He took her to his house. At his house, there was a picture of the princess in a royal dress. He drew that picture by himself. The orphan boy, who raised the goats, drew it. The princess saw the picture and asked him, "Who is she?" He said, "She is the princess." She asked, "Why did you draw her picture?" He said, "I love her. But I don't deserve her. So, I only looked at her picture before I sleep at night." She said, "Aww. Really? Do you?" He said, "Yes." Later, the princess went back to her palace and said, "The man I am going to marry is the one from the outskirts of the village. He is the orphan boy who raises the goat there." The villagers were shocked. However, the princess married him. They started a happy family.
