Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there were two brothers-in-law. They split the tree logs every day. One of them sharpened the axe. Another one didn't know that the axe was sharpened. Then he used that axe to split the logs. He struck with force, but the axe bounced back and hurt his belly. He was in pain and couldn't even stand straight. His brother-in-law saw him and asked him, "Why are you being like that? You said you're going to split the logs. Do it quick." And he unintentionally hit his brother-in-law's head with the axe he was holding. The man was dead due to the injury on his belly and head. He said, "Oh, I think he is dead. I don't know what to do." At that time, his sister saw them and said, "You kill your brother-in-law. You must repay back." Then he thought to himself, "I should never use the axe. I should avoid using objects like axes. He learned a lesson. Transcription (Lu Awng) Moi shawng de shang hkau yan lahkawng nga ai da. Shang hkau lahkawng gaw da hpun chye ai da.
