Description:Translation (Htoi San) A long time ago, two siblings were so wealthy with their parents. After their parents passed away, they separated into the east and the west. While they had got their own family, the younger brother was so lazy, so he was poor. The elder one was very reliable and competent, so he became very rich. The younger brother was so impoverished, and he did not even have anything to eat. Therefore he went to his brother. He traveled to his brother and borrowed rice plants. There was a big river separating the two brothers' places. They lived in different countries apart from the big river. When the younger brother went to his elder brother to borrow the paddy, his brother lent him until the boat almost drowned. As the rice plants were so good, he carried the rice covered all over the ship. Then the younger one planted them in his country, but he did not pluck the grass. When it was harvest time, he cut the rice whatever he scattered without pulling the grass and gave them back to his brother. When he brought back the paddy to his brother, his boat was floating on the water. He gave back like this to his brother and said, "My brother, I am giving back the paddy I borrowed last year." His brother responded, "I don't want that. You bring that boat back." So he took the boat and went back. He was amazed by his brother's words, "You carry them back and give me the rice plants after you do well." Thus, he brought all the rice plants back and worked adequately on his farm that year. From the start of sowing, he pulled the grass and worked his farming nicely. As a result, he had very good quality rice that year. Then he put the rice plants on the boat to give them back to his brother. This time, he carried the rice until his boat was almost drowning. Only then, his brother said, "That's it. My younger brother! You know how to work properly, which is enough from now on. You take back these rice plants. You don't need to give me back. You have to work like this your whole life." The younger brother listened to his brother and returned home, bringing the rice plants back. Transcription (La Ring) Moi kalang mi hta da shan nau gaw kanu yan kawa nga ai shaloi grai lu su ai da.
