Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there were two friends in a village. They lived under the same shelter. One boy clenched his teeth while he was sleeping. Another one snored so noisily at night. The snorer said to his friend, "Snoring is not so bad. But clenching your teeth is like you are eating bones of corpses." He was upset after hearing what his friend said. One day, they travelled somewhere together. On their way, it was getting dark and they had to sleep in the forest. They slept by snoring noisily and grinding teeth hard. A huge tiger came to them and thought, "I think that man is grinding his teeth to eat me. But the one who is snoring might be fat. I will just eat him." It just walked past the boy who clenched teeth. It went to the snorer and ate him. When he woke up, he saw his friend was killed. Then, he thought, "I always feel dejected since he said that I was like eating corpse's bones. But because of this habit, I am free from danger." Then, he didn't continue his journey and just went back to the village. Transcription (Lu Awng) Moi masha la 2 gaw shan gaw manang gaw re da.
