Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once in a village, there was a mother with two children. In the Kachin tradition, parents live with the youngest child. So, the mother also lived with her youngest son, Ma Naw. The eldest son, Ma Gam, married and had many children. His family was financially struggling. So, the mother secretly gave food to his family. She gave food to Ma Gam's family without telling her son and daughter-in-law. One day, she died when she was old. However, she reincarnated as a pig at Ma Naw's house. She gave birth to many piglets for her youngest son, Ma Naw. She had to pay back everything. After many days, it was time for her to die. She spoke a human language before she died. She told Ma Naw, "My son, I gave much food to your brother because they are poor. I kept it as a secret from you and your wife. Now, I need to pay back everything. But it's time for me to lose my breath. Bury my body at the front part of the village. If you need anything, just come to my tomb and tell me. I will help you as much as I can." Then she finally lost her breath. Transcription (Lu Awng) Moi da kahtawng langai mi kaw she la kasha 2 lu ai dinggai langai nga ai da.
