Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story I am going to tell is about a snake and a cow. Long, long ago, there lived a man in a village. He had a cow too. He always put his cow on the field to eat grass. That cow also gave birth to many calves. There was a small cave beside the place where the cow ate grass. There was a snake inside that cave. And that snake was really lazy to find food. He secretly went up from the cow's leg and sucked the breast milk of the cow. Then the calves were getting thinner and thinner day by day. So, the owner of the cow went to the field where the cow ate grass. Then he saw that the snake was secretly sucking the breast milk of the cow. There was a saying that, "We have to act like that snake. If we act like him, we could get food without getting tired." Transcription (Lu Awng) Ya ngai hkai na gaw lapu hte nga kanu a lam re nga ai.
