Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was a family with three family members in a village. They were a widow and her two children. The widow was a farmer. In the past, people didn't know how to plant crops very well. She didn't plant vegetables such as cucumber or pumkin too. While she was at the farm, her two children were at home. One day, the children wanted to know about their father. In fact, they were the children of a dragon. The children asked her about their father, "Mom, who is our father? We want to know who he is and want to meet him." She said, "You will see him one day." The next day, they asked her about their father again. In the end, she decided to let them know about their father. She said, "If you really want to know about your father, go to the farm I work. The first one that comes out is your father." The next day, the children went to their mother's farm to find out who their father was. When they arrived there, they saw a giant dragon. Then, the elder child said, "Mom told us that the first one we see is our father. So, the dragon might be our father. Let's catch him." And they went back home and prepared to catch the dragon. The following day, they brought iron, rope and other tools to the farm. And they caught the dragon. And they tied him to the tree up the stream. The dragon begged them, "If you are going to tie me, tie me at least in the water, please." They thought to tie him not so tight and made sure he didn't run away. They said, "We should tie him with the iron." They started making the iron string. At that moment, a prawn came out of its hole and said, "My lord ordered me to tell you something. He said he felt dizzy because of the sound you produce when you make the iron string. So, don't do it, please." The two brothers said, "What! What are you talking about? We are even so busy making the iron string to tie our father. Why are you telling us not to do that?" Then, they picked the prawn with tongs and threw it into the fire. The prawn turned red. The next day, they continued making the iron string. This time, a crab came to them and said, "My lord ordered me to tell you that he felt dizzy because of the sound you are producing. He told you not to do it." The boys said, "Here comes another one!" They held the crab with tongs and threw it into the fire. The crab turned red too. This is the end of the story.
