Description:Translation (Htoi San) It is about a lunatic man. Once upon a time, a man was so foolish and naive. The foolish man was not only one child, and he had his sister. Their mother opened a shop to sell vegetables like watercress leaves to feed them. One morning, their mother got three pieces of Muk Pya Talet (a traditional Myanmar snack made with rice powder and jaggery liquid) for them. "You two, share the three Muk among yourselves and stay home," their mother told them, leaving for the market. That boy did not know how to share these. He would get only one if he gave two Muk to his sister. If he took two, his sister would get only one. So, he was confused and did not know how to divide among them. At that time, a wise king passed by their house. The king asked the boy, "Child, why are you amazed? You look very difficult to think about. What kind of difficulties do you have?" The boy answered, "I am amazed because I don't know how to divide between my sister and me of these Muk which my mom gave us." The king took the Muk and gave one to the sister and gave one to him. After that, he broke the last one into half and gave each piece to them. The boy was so happy that his complex problem was solved. He was so surprised and glad that the king could solve his trouble. When his mother returned, he told her what had happened to him. His mother was also very happy to hear about it. The boy requested his mother, "Mom, I want to stay with that wise king for a while." The mother brought her son to the king and said, "My king. Please accept my son to stay with you." The king agreed, "Alright. Sure thing. I will teach him for about two months." The boy could stay with the king, but he did things wrongly as he was told. One day, the queen let her baby sleep. She let her baby sleep in the cradle and told the boy, "I will go to the market, so please watch my baby. If she cries, you watch her." So the boy waited and watched the baby sleeping in the cradle. When the baby was crying and crying, he did not take out the baby and just watched her. After that, the baby fell from the cradle, and she cried a lot, but he just watched her and did not carry her. The baby reached the stairs and fell from there. He went near the baby and looked at her, although the baby was crying and bleeding. At that time, the queen came back from the market and said to him, "Oh my God! Why didn't you carry the baby even though she cries out this much?" The boy replied, "My queen, you asked me to watch the baby." "So I have just watched her like this. I have listened to you." "Oh my! You are such a stupid man," said the queen, and she was angry and did not say anything. She complained about this to her husband king, "Chase this man out from here faster. He is such a stupid and foolish man." However, the king was so patient that he did not let the boy go and stay. One day, there was a fire near their house. Before the fire, the queen asked the boy to tell the king while he was having a meeting. "I fried bread. Tell the king to come and eat." The boy ran to the king's meeting and shouted, "My king, the queen said she fried the bread. Come and eat it." He shouted out loud so the people from the meeting were amazed. The king told him, "If you want to tell something," "you need to show me gestures. For example, blink your eyes or aslant your mouth. You do that first." The boy marked the king's saying. The next time, there was a fire beside their house. The queen told him, "Go and tell your king faster that our house is burning." He ran to the king when he was having his meeting. He was told to go in the morning. He waited at the door as the meeting was not over yet, so he blinked his eyes. He also made his mouth aslant, but the king did not see him. When the meeting was almost finished in the evening, the king saw the boy moving his mouth and his eyes aslant. The king asked him, "Why are your eyes and mouth aslant?" The boy answered, "There is a fire beside your house, so I do not dare to shout that you might be angry at me. Therefore, I showed you gestures that my mouth even is aslant already." The king replied, "Oh my! In that case, you have to shout out loud. Let's go and see." When they reached home, the wife had packed everything already and was furious. The wife said to her husband, "If it were burnt and died, you would arrive only after my child and I died. You are such an unthoughtful man. Why did you do that?" The husband explained, "This boy did not say anything to me. He did not come and tell me about it." The wife responded, "I asked him to tell you." The king asked the boy, "Why didn't you tell me?" The boy explained, "My king, you have told me when you are having a meeting," "I cannot shout and have to show gestures with my eyes. Therefore, I blinked my eyes the whole morning, but you did not look at me." The king finally accepted, "Oh, that is my fault." Then the king asked, "If so, carry the light things." The boy was stupid, so he only carried things like straw and other stuff that he thought were light. Actually, the king wanted to carry light things, like jewelry and so on. However, the boy needed help understanding and bringing only what was not valuable. The king and his wife were so fed up and did not know how to chase him out. One day, it was a full moon night. When the moon came out, the queen placed a giant pot filled with water. The shadow of the moon was reflected on the water from the pot. The reflection of the moon in the pot made another moon. The wife told the boy. "Hey boy, come and see here. The king told me that you could go back after two months, right? It has been two months already." When the boy looked at it, it was really a moon in the pot and another in the sky. The boy said, "Oh, it could be." The boy believed it was two months full and returned home. Here is the end of the story. Transcription (La Ring) Grai manya ai la langai a lam. Moi shawng de la langai mi gaw grai angawk ai shi gaw grai anya ai la langai nga ai da.
