Description:Translation (by Rita Seng Mai) I'm going to tell about how entada rheedii plants grow. Many years ago, there was an old man who worshipped Nat spirits in a village. He worked as a shaman. He liked talking with Nat spirits more than with human. He liked to communicate with Nats. Even though he liked communicating with Nats more than with humans, he also talked and made friends with humans. Humans usually visited his house. They usually came to talk and play with his children too. "Tell your human friends not to come to my house! They have humans' smell. I don't like it," an old shaman told his children. He kept telling that he didn't like. But humans visited his house, talked with his children and played with his children as usual. An old shaman really disliked about that and felt angry. So he drove those people out from his compound. They were angry on being driven away. One day, they carried that old shaman and put him in a tall tree. Then he fell from the tree and died. Entada rheedii plants grew right on that place where he fell and died. Transcription (by Lu Awng) Ya ngai tsun na maumwi gaw shamen si wa ai lam hpe tsun na.
