Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was an orphan boy. He worked as a shepherd for other people. He was a daily wager. He had to look after a flock of sheep every day. He was a good liar. He was playful and often lied to his friends. One day, he shouted loudly while he was looking after the sheep, "Wolf! Wolf! Help us! Help!" Actually, there was no wolf, and he was just lying. The villagers heard him and came running with tools to kill the wolf, but there was no wolf. The boy was lying to them. The next day, the boy shouted again, "Wolf! Wolf! It is going to kill the sheep! Help!" The villagers heard him shouting and thought the real wolf was attacking the sheep, so they quickly came running to help him. There was no wolf, and his sheep were still there grazing. In fact, he was just bored, so he tried to tease the villagers. The villagers were getting angry and went back home. The next day, he shouted again, "Wolf! Wolf! Help us! It is about to kill the sheep." When the villagers arrived, there was no wolf. They were getting angry and said, "This boy is playing with us. He is teasing us!" They all went back home angrily. After that, the boy took all of his sheep and went back home too. The next day, he took the sheep out to graze. On that day, a pack of wolves really appeared and attacked the flock of sheep. Then, the boy shouted in shock, "Wolf! Wolf! They are attacking my sheep and me! Help us! Help!" No matter how loud he shouted to ask for help, no one came to help him. He was shouting, "This is real! There are many wolves attacking me and my sheep. Help us, please!" However, no one came. He kept running away from the wolves. Unfortunately, he was attacked and killed by the wolf. He was eaten by the wolves. We are very likely to act like that boy in our lives. Everyone will get angry if they are lied to. Therefore, we can't tell lies easily. We shouldn't lie to our children or anyone else. When things get real, no one will believe you or want to help you. We should say only what is true. We should never lie to anyone. The orphan boy lied to the villagers just for fun. When the villagers came to help him, there was nothing. They lost trust in him. In the end, he had to lose his life. We should never tell lies. We should say only the truth.
