Description:Translation (Htoi Awng) Once upon a time, a Kachin woman had a child. When he was about ten years old, he was playing with a knife and climbed a tree. Then, he fell down from the tree and had been accidentally stabbed by that knife. He was dead. But, the knife was mysteriously disappeared. His mother buried him. After some years later, there was a Shan (ethnic group) woman in a village. She usually kept the cotton under the sun. There, that boy who was dead after falling down from the tree became a silkworm and stayed there. The Shan woman took all those cottons back and made pillows for her and her husband. Not long after that, she was pregnant. And she had a baby soon. That baby was the boy who died after falling from the tree. When that baby grew up, he said to his Shan mother, "I want to take care of Kachin mother from the past life of mine." His mother said, "Why do you want to look after her? You are my son!" He said, "I was dead when I was about 10 years old. I died after falling down from the tree. If you don't believe, let's go and look at that tree." And he and his Shan mother went there together. He showed that tree and showed the place of the knife too. People said that he was reincarnated.
