Description:Translation (by Seng Pan) This is about little egret's feast. A fox and a little egret lived together in a deep forest. They were close friends. They had a promise not to eat each other and to stay as close friends. Even the fox's diet was meat, he agreed not to eat little egret and to be friend. One day, the fox invited the little egret to his feast. "Today, I will offer a feast at my house. Come and enjoy the foods, friend! I will prepare delicious foods," the fox said. The little egret went to her friend's feast. The fox also invited other foxes. And he served the foods on the plates. So, the little egret couldn't take the foods from the plate since her beak was long and pointed. Although the foods looked so delicious, she was not able to have. By seeing it, the fox thought he made a mistake. But he didn't realize that was serving the foods on the plates without considering for little egret. And the feast was gradually over. After days, the little egret invited her friend to a feast. She also invited other friends and without concerning the fox convenience, she served the foods in the bamboo water containers which were easy for her and her friends to eat from. But for the fox, it wasn't easy for him to take out the foods from the bamboo container. Therefore, he couldn't eat them. Even they were close friends, they couldn't enjoy the foods which each other served. Because of it, they had got doubts on each other. So, they separated and ended their friendship. From that day on, when the foxes see little egrets, they catch and eat them. The little egrets also avoid not to be seen by the foxes.
