Description:Translation (Tu Hkawng) It is about a greedy dog. Once upon a time, there was a dog that lived in a village. The dog steals food around the village all the time. One day, the dog swam and crossed a river to steal food in a neighboring village. After crossing the river, It seemed to discover meat in the neighboring village's kitchen as the pieces of meat were displaced to dry. It stole and brought back the meat to home after he saw and thought that "I would eat up the meat at home." The dog bited a meat skewer with his mouth. Then, it (a dog) saw a shadow of a dog which was carrying skewers on the river surface when he crossed the river. After it saw the shadow of a dog carrying meat skewers on the river surface, the dog conceived in its mind that it was going to rob the meat skewers that the other dog was carrying. As soon as it opens its mouth, the meat skewer falls into the water. Therefore, he could not eat anything. It is a short story for children to learn from the greedy dog. It should have enough to eat what it has brought. It only saw its own shadow, but it still wanted to rob from another. Unfortunately, it dropped the meat into the river and eventually lost the meat. The story has ended here. Transcription (Lu Awng) Law hpa ai gwi a lam. Moi mare langai mi kaw gwi langai mi gaw lagu hkrai lagu sha hkawm ai mare ting ting lagu sha hkawm ai gwi langai mi nga ai da.
