Description:Side A: Honiara (05-08-75): (Lingana 1974: Kana C48B last half); Wanebana of Vura, Honiara (in presence Lingana) experiences 1974-75 in West, Gizo, etc; fights, work, staying with Lolefanua, burial of Boneikwai (?) disputed later by (unclear); attitudes / visiting home, girls, marriage; Linganafelo comments on Wanebana story, and to lalaa, mua, how actions shown in behaviour, etc.; Childbirth, difficulties, beliefs, practices, talking mae ‘ai ta wane, coming under ‘trouble’ of someone else. Side B: (cont'd). (11-08-75) Linganafelo of Vura: girls, friends, courtships, attitudes towards others, perception of others; differentiation in ‘town’ esp those who hold big work. Some background hiss at times.Side A was recorded at two different speeds so it was split at 00:23:26 and the second part was resampled to correct speed then joined back together. Side B was also resmpled to correct speed.
