Description:This elicitation session features discussions of sentence structure and syntax of Nasal, including voice, quantifier float, relativization, and applicative suffixes -i and -kun with Wawan and Johan. It was recorded in the living room at Anton Supriyadi's house in Tanjung Betuah. Later parts in this session also involve the collaborative creation of a dialogue to be used in later recordings of intonational elicitation. Audio was recorded using a 4-channel Tascam DR-701D. Johan wore a Shure SM35 headset microphone, and Wawan wore an AKG C520 headset microphone; both speakers' audio was was recorded (in Mono) through the DR701-D. In addition to the headset microphones a stereo microphone was placed on the floor among the speakers and recorded to the Tascam DR701D. Audio was recorded in WAV format at 128kHz, 32 bit. Video was recorded using a Canon XA30, which has an external audio input, set up on a tripod. Camera audio was recorded using a R√∏de NTG2 shotgun microphone connected through the camera's external audio input. Video was recorded in AVCHD format at 30fps with 1920 x 1080 resolution. This elicitation session is divided into multiple parts: the first part features only Johan as a consultant and is 23:21 minutes long, after which the recording is stopped to set up for the addition of Wawan; the second part features Johan and Wawan, and is 68:14 minutes long, after which the recording is stopped to take a break; the third part is 43:50 minutes long, and involves the creation of controlled dialogues; the final part is 11:16 minutes long, and involves the editing and readings of the dialogue created in the previous part..
