Description:Digital recording of a music session made by Geoffrey Benjamin in 2008. This is an actual ʔalʉj Səlamad session/séance (unlike the earlier one from 2006 which was just a singsong for Benjamin to record – people singing songs that they associated with the ʔalʉj Səlamad religion but they were not necessarily followers themselves). Figure 14.14 of Benjamin's Temiar Religion book was taken at this recording session, showing the house where it was recorded. The text on p.370 onward of the book describes this session. Notes on this recording session start on p.41 of Notebook 13.
