Description:Digital recording of a music session made by Geoffrey Benjamin in 2006 at Mɛnrɔɔd, on the Brɔk river on the upper reaches of the Nenggiri (Mering river in Malay, west of Fort Brooke about 10 minutes off the highway between Grik and Gua Musang). The recording includes Pg. Maluuʔ, son of ʔaluŋ, singing in the gamɔʔ style. Notes about this recording session on p.7 and p.15 of Notebook 12. 'Gamɔʔ is the style of Rɛŋnɛɛŋ & Mɛnrɔɔd; they don't know pɛnhəəy here. Gamɔʔ is tərliwat, the women sing after the halaaʔ, or independently' (p.15 Notebook 12).
