| Description: A 20–30 m tall, beautiful tree which may grow any-where in the forest or around the village. The bark is black and the resin (pís) is white and sticky. The resin is smeared on wounds to make them heal quickly (>òh). The wood is yellow and is good building material. The fruit is 4–5 cm long and looks like the fruit of the paper mulberry tree (sáa-lɛ̀ɛ). In April and May the fruits ripen and all kinds of animals come to eat them. | ||
