		Description: A herb with fragrant leaves and fragrant, white flowers. People sow the seeds around the field-houses (sŋkár) when they are sowing rice (cmɔ̀ɔl), and in October the plants bear flowers. During the rice harvest (>hɔ́ɔt), the leaves and flowers are mixed with cooked rice and fed to the rice spirits. Women and young girls wear this herb on their ears and fasten some to their baskets in order to please the rice-soul, which will follow them home and stay in the village. During the rice harvest, people start each day by sacri¬ficing some crwàaŋ leaves to the rice-soul at the foot of the decorated pole (cóh) in the field. At the end of the year, the seeds are brought back to the village and stored in a barn. When the wife-givers give clappers (pɔ́h) and decorated poles (cóh) to the wife-taking family, they plant this herb inside the fence (lók cóh) around the pole. Crwàaŋ, butterfly lily (ràaŋ ɨ̀aŋ) and Pimpinella (crŋɛ̀) are herbs which everybody knows and loves.
