Description: A 5–7 m tall bush which grows in the forest. The stems and leaves are silvery. The leaves smell like the new rice. People cut the branches and dry them. Then they burn them, putting a piece of cast iron (kháaŋ) as a cover over the fire. The black soot which gets stuck on the iron is used for painting people’s teeth, in order to make them stronger and more beautiful.
