Description: A wild yam which grows near streams and rivers. The vine is 8–10 m long and climbs a tree. There can be four or five tubers in the same hole, 1–1.5 m down into the ground. People dig it up and make a soup or steam it and eat with rice. It tastes better than other wild tubers.
