Description: A tree with beautiful, yellow flowers from which red sta¬mens hang down. The leaves are edible but very bitter. It grows outside the village, and people also plant it around the gar¬dens as a fence. During the hot season people pick the young leaves and put them in a large bamboo tube to ferment. The fermented leaves (dɔ́ɔŋ lá ~) are eaten with rice and chilli sauce.
