Description:Eyak grammar is a work in progress. It is by now close enough to completion for use by the academic public. It was compiled originally as three files: "Phonology" 100 pages, "Morphology" 486 pages, and "Syntax" 96 pages; here combined into a single PDF document. Notes for revisions are to be found throughout the text, mostly minor and infrequent, not to detract from the usability of the text. Minor sections remain to be written: on adverbs, demonstrative locationals, proclitics, exclamations. The only major section yet to be added is two introductions, one to the trilogy of grammar, dictionary, and texts, the other to the grammar proper, including a revised and expanded version of my "A History of Eyak Language Documentation and Study" (Arctic Anthropology, 2006). Comments welcome. Comments: Digital copy only; no physical copy in archive.
