'How to apply for loans' is part of the fight against poverty in The Gambia through the provision of rural credit. Many agencies want to offer credit, but using it effectively and repaying it on time has proven daunting for most people. One reason is the low level of literacy. "Non-Formal Education" provides information about credit through literacy training. The book explains credit, eligibility, types of credit, and its uses. There are steps on how to apply for credit, with sample credit forms. Une stratégie élaborée en Gambie pour la lutte contre la pauvrete est l'octroi de crédits aux personnes en milieu rural. Il existe beaucoup d'organisations qui veulent octroyer des crédits à des individus ou des groupes, mais l'utilisation efficace des crédit et leur remboursement dans les délais convenus se sont avérés effrayants pour beaucoup de personnes. L'une des raisons de çela est le bas niveau d'alphabétisation. Les agents de l'alphabétisation dans l'éducation non formelle ont proposé l'intégration de l'information sur le crédit dans l'alphabétisation. Ce livre comporte des indications sur les différents types de crédits, les personnes éligibles pour chaque type, et ou les crédits doivent être investis. On pourra suivre des instructions graduelles sur la façon d'écrire et de solliciter un crédit, avec des modèles de demande de crédit (formulaires de crédit).
