It was composed in 1904, by her uncle, Jimmy Jackson, when his wife, Susie Davis, left him, and his sister-in-law offered to be his girl friend.... This is not addressed to any sib -yAtx'i. It is supposed to sound like the sawmill in which Jimmy Jackson was working at the time. However, it is supposed to be of Haida type, like the conventional songs addressed to sib-yAtx'i.".
