Description: | This recording features Queenie Brennan's second telling the Crow and Jackal story in Dalabon, this time as a whole narrative with all the picture cards laid out in front of her. She interprets the jackal/dog to beg the fish from the crow, and the crow to have intentionally given the fish to the dog. Then the crow takes advantage of his knowledge of the source of fish and his ability to fly to leave the Dingo behind and seek more fish. | |
