Description:The Hickmann Task elicits descriptions of caused motion and voluntary motion events through short vignettes. The task has two parts: In the first part, the experimenter and the participant sit together and look at the screen together. The experimenter gives the names of the objects in the vignettes and asks the participant what s/he has seen on the vignette after watching it. In the second part, the experimenter and the signer sit opposite to each other and the signer watches the vignettes and describes the event to the experimenter. In the second part, the vignettes include motions of boundary crossing type mainly. This task has been done as a trial and is not collected from every participant. The task lasts about 30 minutes with children and 20 minutes with adults.
