Nijmegen, Netherlands: Language and Cognition Group, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics). A série foi apresentada à informante. Para cada cena, a pesquisadora perguntava "Onde está X?", e a informante respondia, descrevendo o local do objeto exibido na foto.
The purpose of the project is to document Trumai, a genetically isolate language spoken in Brazil. The archive consists of a collection of texts in the language, plus other kinds of materials relative to the Trumai culture, such as photos, drawings, songs, educational materials, etc.
Elicitation about positional verbs.
The researcher presents the topic of the elicitation in Portuguese. Then, she asks "where" questions in Trumai. The consultant replies in Trumai, according to the scene being described. Sometimes the researcher asks questions about a particular scene in Portuguese, and the consultant replies also in Portuguese.
There were two participants: the Trumai consultant (Speaker10) and the researcher.
