| The project is based on interdisciplinary and intercultural field research oriented towards documenting indigenous languages spoken in the Argentine Chaco region. The Chaco Project collects, processes, and archives linguistic and cultural data for Mocovi (Guaycuru), Tapiete (Tupi-Guarani), Vilela (Lule-Vilela) and Wichi (Mataco), with the objective of developing computarized and digitalized text, lexicographic, and ethnographic databases along with documentary videos. Documentation activities are carried out by a team comprised of linguistics, anthropogists, and media experts. | ||
| El wichí es la única lengua usada durante esta sesión. Niños, jóvenes y adultos wichí usan el wichí para comunicarse entres sí en distintos eventos comunicativos de la vida cotidiana, ritos, ceremonias, situaciones de enseñanza, juegos, dispersión, conversaciones, reuniones y asambleas comunitarias, entre otras. | ||
| Es nuera del pastor del asentamiento (casada con ML). Nació en Los Esteros (en la margen del río Bermejo), a los 12 años aproximadamente se movilizó con su padre a Tres Pozos donde permanece actualmente. Tiene dos hijos: RL y OL. Canta en un grupo de música wichí de la Iglesia Anglicana. | ||
